  • The Real Magical Festival of Winter Solstice

The Real Magical Festival of Winter Solstice

The Original Season of Yuletide Explained

Long before Christmas became a commercial holiday, it was known as Yule—the celebration of midwinter, the Winter Solstice, and the rebirth of light and the Goddess (Nature). In the darkest days of the year, ancient peoples honoured the turning of the Wheel, gathering in warmth and gratitude as the Sun began its slow return back to fuel earth.

At its heart, this season was never about consumption or excess. It has nothing to do with killing baby pigs and putting their dead flesh in their own blankets of tortured skin. It has nothing to do with stuffing dead turkey birds murdered ruthlessly or eating and gifting dairy products made of milk of of stolen babies. It was originally about naturelightrenewal, and love for all life.

The Living Evergreen: A Tree to Honour, Not to Cut

The Fir tree, evergreen even in the harshest winter, symbolizes eternal life of earth or natureendurance, and the promise of renewal. People once decorated living outdoor trees, offering them: Solar and star symbols and lights, ribbons, herbs, fruits, misteltoes, holly, and pinecones, handmade charms and presents to share love with. These were gifts to nature, not taken from it.

Cutting down trees, abandoning them after use, and treating them as disposable is the opposite of the original meaning. The tree was, and still remains, a living guardian of the winter nights.

Sacred Plants: Mistletoe and the Magic of Midwinter

Herbs like mistletoe were revered not only for protection and healing but also for their symbolism of life that thrives even in darkness. Such plants reminded ancient peoples that nature has its own wisdom and that winter is a time of quiet power, not death.

These traditions were expressions of partnership with the Earth, not dominion over it.

25 December: The Solstice, Saturnalia, and the Old Sun

The date later known as “Christmas Day” was originally the culmination of Saturnalia and the veneration of Sol Invictus, the Unconquered Sun. It marked the returning strength of the Sun after the longest night.

Santa Claus and Saturn: The Old Sun / Old God

Before Santa was reinvented as a jolly gift-giver in red, he reflected the Old Sun—the Old God of Saturnalia.
He was the Ancient Winter King, the spirit of the dying year who:

    Delivered final gifts of wisdom

Blessed people magically (the most magical time of the year)

And then stepped aside to make way for the new Sun of the coming year

This figure symbolises release, completion and the gentle passing of the old cycle with new magical gifts brewing inside the cauldron of our soul and soil.

The Goddess and Earth: December as Her Rebirth

Later patriarchal traditions centred winter festivals around a male god or sun deity and the modern deity of the scriptural religions who claim that nature was created in six days by a male deity or an individual person from outside of nature who forbids use of magical powers in us. Who demands sacrifice and obedience to commandments that are not always healthy and allowed the use and dominion of non human animals with humans made more ‘special’ as the ‘image and likeness’ of himself.

We can now clearly see that the older understanding of nature as the creator of all beings is more balanced—and in many traditions, deeply feminine and reminds us of our own inner power or energy. After all Energy creates Reality, not a deity or individual from outside. And we all have Magickal Powers inside of us. We are all animals.

The Earth Herself is the Goddess

In winter, she descends into stillness, appearing barren or asleep.
But beneath the frost, she carries the potential for new life.

December can be seen as the birth of the Goddess:

The Old Crone of Samhain, now dying and experiencing rebirth

The deep womb of the Earth carrying the spark of new life, and

    Nature preparing to reawaken

By spring or Ostara, the Goddess emerges as the Maiden, young, green, and flourishing. This interpretation shows that the season is not inherently male at all. It is Earth-centricnature-centric, and deeply inclusive. The cycle is simple and eternal (The Wheel of The Year):

Dec – Yule/ Mid-winter Solstice – the old Goddess of earth or nature rests, regenerates, dreams new life, reborn as new alongside the dying and reborn sun god in the shortest day and longest night of the year

Feb – Imbolc/ Start of Spring – The Goddess is the baby Brigid, helped by the solar god of growing light and potential of seed germination

March – Ostara/ Spring Equinox – the Goddess is a green Maiden, fertile, and youthful in the equinox of the sun when day and night are equivalent

May – Beltane/ Start of Summer – The Maiden is wed with the powerful Sun as the days are brighter and longer

June – Litha/ Mid-summer Solstice – the Goddess flourishes, bearing flowers with the strongest sun or the longest day of the year

Aug – Lammas/ Start of Autumn – the Mother bears the first harvest fruits as the days get shorter

Sep – Mabon/ Autumnal Equinox – The Mother bears the second harvest of grains as autumn takes over

Nov – Samhain/ End of Summer and Autumn—she becomes the Crone, releasing the final harvest of pumpkins and ready to retire in winter’s start

It is the story of nature itself—not a masculine lineage, but the living body of the planet with the Eight Sabbats of the Wheel of the Year.

Easter / Ostara: A Festival of Life, Not Harm

Just as Yule celebrates rebirth in the womb of winter, Easter (originally Ostara) celebrates the explosion of life at the Spring Equinox.

It was always about: Newborn animals, Eggs as symbols of creation, Flowers opening, Rebirth and fertility. This season honoured life, not death.
It was never intended to be a time for harming lambs, consuming eggs from exploited animals, dairy chocolates, or celebrating violence against the young. To truly honour Ostara, just as Yule (real Easter and Christmas) is to protect and nurture life, not take it or steal it.

So, now do you realize how the ‘Matrix’ or false religious propaganda was created to replicate original reality and promote consumerism in place of nature. They created focus on stories of mythical deities and personalities as divine men, in order to reduce a direct connection with nature. In this way they promote exploitative industries of killing lambs, stealing milk from mother animals, and stealing eggs and newborns to ruin the planet and take away empathy by making humans. This is all done to make humans feel superior, entitled and ‘allowed’ to exploit other animals, by a deity who is imagined to be someone of our likeness or image, and a person instead of nature?

Hemispheres: Celebrating the Festival the Land Is Actually Living

In the Northern Hemisphere, December is Yule; June is Litha.
But in the Southern Hemisphere, these are reversed as the seasons are inverse with the opposite spoke of the Wheel of The Year in action, instead of midwinter, there is midsummer and vice versa, for all eight sabbats.

    This alone reveals the truth:

These festivals were never meant to be rigid dates.
    They are instructions from nature.

To celebrate Yule in December in Australia or South Africa makes no spiritual sense—because the land itself is singing a different song. True celebration is always in dialogue with the Earth beneath our feet.

Reclaiming the Real Tradition: Love for Nature and All Beings

When we peel away modern layers of consumerism, exploitation of nature and animals, mass slaughter, artificial customs, patriarchal overlays, commercial storytelling

…we rediscover the oldest truth of all festivals:

They are invitations to honour the Earth.

To protect life, not destroy it.

To live in partnership with the natural world.

The real traditions teach us to:

Decorate living trees, not cut ones

Offer gifts to nature, not take lives from it

Love animals instead of using or eating them

Celebrate the return of light with gratitude, not excess

Recognise that the Goddess of Nature (manifested as the Earth for us) is the true mother of all life, born from her womb, and growing to maturity before taking rebirth alongside the Solar god. Thereby seeing nature as divine in itself. It is not an alien or outside ‘God’ who is a creator of nature. Nature is energy/ Shakti goddess, born of the Self, along with her own Inner Light or Consciousness/ god or Shiva (her own awareness), and we are the ones who are part of her and conscious beings who can look after and respect nature.

These celebrations are not about religion or dogma; they are about remembering who we are:

    Children of the Earth.
    Keepers of life.
    Protectors of the seasons.

    A Planet-Healing Path Forward

When we reclaim the wisdom of Yule, Solstice, Saturnalia, and Ostara, we step back into harmony with the living planet. The festivals become what they were always meant to be:

Seasonal celebrations of the sacred duty of humanity towards loving and protecting nature, our mother.

Reminders that the Earth is sacred, and so is every being upon it, nourished by the light of the Sun who protects her and us.

To celebrate in alignment with the land is to return to compassion.
To honour the Goddess is to honour life itself.
To cherish the seasons is to heal the Earth with light and love. And the Earth, when loved, answers back.

May you rediscover your soul’s powers and be reborn in consciousness.

Blessed Be and have a most spiritually magickal celebration!!

  • The (reverse) Conversion

    The (reverse) Conversion

    They are everywhere

You are watching a spellbinding moment on Charmed and the bell rings…

Enjoying a quiet stroll by the riverside and there you hear them shout…

Rushing to a client meeting and they will still run into you before you run for the train…

Go to the supermarket to buy a toilet roll and there they are…lurking…waiting…pouncing on anyone who seems like a nice person

And before you know it a magazine will be shoved through your door or a hand will firmly place a finger on that book which has the words of their God and they will read out a line or two in an attempt to demonstrate how nice the book is…hoping you will be lured into reading it. They will make every attempt to preach through their book. Yes they are passionate promoters of their faith.

If Wiccans would take even one millionth of this kind of effort to publicise their faith, I guarantee you that even the pigs and chickens in the galaxy will become Wiccans in no time. (but thank Goddess we are not chasing followers)

So here is today’s ‘conversion’, enjoy!

A young woman on the street, “Hi, you look like you speak another language than English, are you Portuguese?”

I (aware of my Asian skin tone), “No, don’t worry, I speak English”

She begins to pulls a thin magazine from her bag

I, “I know you are from a church, don’t worry that magazine is already delivered to my house”

She, “So do you enjoy reading it?”

I, “I have read it once”

She keeps the magazine back and pulls The Book out of her bag and points at a para, “Do you know the prophecy, just like the Lord’s prayer….kingdom come….on earth as in heaven….see here in this book. The day is coming when God will establish his government on earth and it will be better for everyone. Do you believe in this?”

I, “Its great that the world is getting better”. I look at my baby sleeping in the pram and at the road ahead hoping she gets the hint.

She comes in front again, “See just like you love your baby our father loves us too, he is God, do you believe in him?”

I “Sure you can call God mother, or anything else too”

She, “Yes but Jesus said father, our father in heaven will come and change our earth. Do you believe it?”

I, “See no one is coming from outside to heal us, we must learn healing ourselves. God is within, its our inner self”

She, “But God is a personality who is outside and there is also a Devil who is the opposite of him”

I, “All the positive energy is God and its in us too, like a wave flowing through all of us. We need to meditate to be aware of the energy”

She seems interested, so I go on, “Devil is ignorance, because when we are ignorant of this energy that unites us, then we harm others because we falsely believe ourselves to be different. But all karma comes back to us eventually because we are interconnected as one. When we are aware of karma we do good”

She, “That’s really good. Its written here in the book that God created the earth, he made Adam and Eve, in Genesis, see here…in his image…so yes it may be that we all have the qualities of God, See its written here God has these qualities, Love, Wisdom, Power…its written here…Jesus said, God is love. But I always thought God is a distinct personality, a being, who has created us like its written here in Genesis. So who has created us if there is nothing outside?”

I, “God is an unlimited energy. Like you said, its love…its a creative energy that forms everything. Its not a person somewhere outside…its not a limited personality with a limited form. We all have it inside and we can all channel this positive energy, even you can do it.”

She, “But we are told that this book has the words of God so everything is there in it, we have to follow it. We have to read it everyday. I can send you one.”

I, “I have one thank you, I have read it…it was a different version, but see I have a nice way of reading this one…let’s see I will try to get a message for you from this book.”

I perform a Bibliomancy reading for her, reading a random para after meditating and focusing on what she needs to know to give a message to her.

Gosh, its a para about how Jehovah was angry and burnt a city and all the people. (Those kinds are what they avoid reading when they are soft selling)

I, “Look the book says God is love so how is it that this book indicates that he had this anger issue as well, what’s all this burning cities and people”

She trembles a bit, “Yes, I suppose he was angry because people were not being nice to each other… but yes I see what you are saying…its hard to believe that God can have anger also, if it is made of love”

I, “Look here there is something about magic and divination written here”

She, “Yes its written in Deuteronomy 18:10 that there should not be anyone who practices divination, or magic, or talk to spirits”

I, “But divination is all about listening to intuition, its the only way of knowing the truth for yourself …we have to feel God within, meditate and listen to the inner voice. And magic is all about using the inner energy of God for healing so that we can be self reliant, its God’s energy, even spirits need healing”

She, “But see we are told that God wants us to be loyal to him, just like you will want your husband to be loyal to you and not go outside, similarly we should not go to other gods, there are many other gods, there are gods of Egypt and animal gods and god in idols… and we should not believe in other gods”

I, “Idols are not gods, they are symbols of various godly powers, like Durga symbolises protection from evil forces. Nothing wrong with idols. And all gods and goddesses are one but they all symbolise various positive powers, so what do you mean by ‘other gods’…all is one, we are all one. God will never say those things”

She, “Yes we are all one, what you say is true. But then why will the Book say that our God is different from other gods, and we should not believe in any other gods… and why will it say we should not use divination or magic?”

I, “Why don’t you ask the people who wrote these books why they are writing such things? Someone has written this book and then they have made so many versions of it right?”

She (thinks for the first time instead of reading), “Right, thank you. So what do you think we should do to make the world better.”

I, “We should all learn meditation, healing and magic. You should learn magic. That the message from the Bible through divination. Blessed Be!”

  • WICCA: The Most Positive and Rational Religion Today

WICCA: The Most Positive and Rational Religion Today

Most of us are born into a religion of some sort.

We grow up learning the faith that our fathers and forefathers followed – sadly without being offered much of a choice. Having no choice over your faith is a dangerous thing. Faiths evolve with time. Today we are much wiser than we were yesterday. Faiths must be allowed to transform.

    – Some faiths may have so far made people believe in an image or idea of God as an outside force controlling your life. This is now changing.

    – Some faiths may have been unscientific – they opposed any latest discovery – insisted that the stories of world creation and genesis as written in their texts is the final and literal truth. They promoted blind and sometimes wildly hilarious beliefs (or in other words – superstitions) about immaculate conceptions or woman born out of a male rib. They basically disregarded nature and natural laws entirely, holding divine to be something above nature and beyond laws of nature. What could be further from the scientific truth! Today we see that science is being respected and no longer taken as enemy of faith.

    – Some faiths made people follow and worship a leader whose history can not be traced clearly and who could be just another mythical being, just a parallel to an ancient god who had a similar cycle…of birth, death, transformation like The Sun gods…yet promoted as a factual person by the faith leaders and textbook writers of that faith. They insisted the book is historical – it may not have been entirely so. People followed all over the world – what may be just another version or parallel of the natural or pagan gods of ancient folklores all over the world. We are now opening to that possibility.

    – Some faiths make you believe that sexuality is sinful and virginity is divine. No longer does the modern human need such dogma.

    – Some faiths blatantly discriminated against women – gave them no opportunity to hold religious leadership in their institutions. Their role in the religions they followed was subservient to that of the male clergy. Only a male held the highest ran. No reason why – but it was the tradition in these medieval faiths. Change is the need of the hour.

    – Some faiths were downright oppressive to women, not even having them choose what to wear. For instance an athlete who had to wear shorts was made to feel ashamed just because she is a female and has to hide or cover her body in their religion. Women still chose to follow such faiths – mentally brainwashed for centuries. This cannot go on forever. One day women are sure to come out of their self imposed chains. It could be now.

    – Some faiths may have promoted – directly or indirecly – anger and violence against those who are not part of your religion – by way of inquisitions, mass witch hunting, stripping, abuse, burning or drowning of those who refused to follow the male dominated faith. These burnt and murdered people may have done no harm, yet accused wrongly of conspiring with the devil. Ironically the devil was never even worshiped by pagans, witches or people of the old faiths. Pagans believed in personified images of nature – both the yin and the yang, dark and light, male and female depictions of nature as coexisting without any contradictions. Mass murders in the name of faith were still done and misinformation was spread widely putting witches into disrepute in the dark dark ages of untruth – Who was the real ‘devil’ here is anyone’s guess.

    – Some faiths may have preached intolerance, hate or destruction against those who are non-followers, eg , religious wars or crusades to convert people, destruction of ancient pagan temples and relics and building of churches an mosques in their place – stealing the sacred places of ancient power – especially where ley-lines or energy grids of earth converged. Placing saints and angels in place of ancient pagan gods and goddess of similar names and magical powers. Borrowing ancient nature based customs and disguising them as the festivals of their faith – trees and eggs decorated meaninglessly without any reference to ancient spirituality anymore being one of the proofs today of the hidden undercurrents of paganism oppressed but not discarded to make the medieval faith more palatable to the ancient folks who were converted to the medieval monotheistic faith.

    – IRONICALLY – these faiths were the first ones to spread malicious stories about witches being bad ugly women with warts eating children up!

This is something that had absolutely no rational basis but was just negative fairy tale imagery being taught to children….. why? – to make them closed or blocked to their rational wisdom and the natural magickal witch/ wiz power that is within them – but sadly inactive for life. So that kids so far remained dull in their intuition and grew up to be mere followers of medieval oppressive faiths with no imagination or magickal power.

The dark ages of ignorance are hereby over.

Now it is my duty and privilege to inform you about WICCA

    – A modern religion that believes that we are the creators of our destiny – through our karma (physical or mental action)  we create our futures. We are magickal in every way and no outside force is controlling us (at least not without our latent approval). We have complete indisputable power over our life. We are Witches or Wizards – wise folk who know how to follow the right karma and create the right destiny as per the laws of nature and the code of ethics (harm none – for what you do comes back to you).

    – A rational and scientific religion – that believes in nature – visible, observable natural phenomena (even the hidden parts of nature are valid scientific phenomena and can be energetically explained and observed in Wicca as vibrations that are sometimes not discernible to the five limited human senses but can be read by the extended sensory perceptions of E.S.P. or intuition AND by higher level science which is being developed today). Celebrating equinoxes and solstices and moon phases as cycles of nature – with symbolic references to myths and mythologies, instead of celebration based of assumed life, death and struggles of some person questionable as true history. Celebrating harvests and seasonal changes in nature. Knowing that all myths and mythologies, all gods and goddess are essentially symbolic in depicting natural cycles. That basis of all faiths is ultimately nature and its personification in the form of deities all over the world today and throughout history – this is a fact.

    – Wicca is one religion in which you are not asked to blindly follow any book or sacred text or any idea of a historical or mythical person. You are not even asked to follow a past leader of Wiccan faith – without properly reasoning, questioning and understanding everything you choose to believe in.

    – A faith that celebrates our bodies, our physicality, our sexuality as equally sacred as our spirit. After all through physical existence the spirit rejoices and experiences life.

    – A religion where a woman can hold the HIGHEST position in the religious institutions. Have you ever seen a High Priestess in the popular medieval religions that have so far had maximum following all over the world? Perhaps not. Here in Wicca a woman is given that respect – owing to her wisdom, the way she can guide, teach, help others in their spiritual understanding and their daily lives – as an Oracle, a teacher of the mysteries, a channel. A man can be a High Priest in Wicca too. Both genders can share the highest honor and head Wiccan temples or institutions.

    – A religion in which female versions of higher self or goddess forms are equally sacred as male versions of god. There are no special do’s and don’ts exclusively for women and they are allowed respect as human beings – no matter what they wear – without taboos. In Wicca a woman will be respected even naked – as a sacred goddess and not made to feel ashamed. After all no other specie in the world is ashamed of the body or regards body as just a sexual object. Those who harm, abuse, rape women are the ones who are wrong – not the woman who has as much right as a man to dress as she pleases.

    – Wicca is a faith in which you are first taught to take the Wiccan Oath – follow the Rede or code of ethics – “harm none – do as ye will”. Have you ever seen such a positive and straightforward guideline of conduct preached in any other religion – possibly not. They may have an incomplete list of sorts – …Do not lie, Do not commit adultery and so on…but not the simple fact – harm none…which covers everything. Basically this is the only faith that tells you to uphold only the purest intentions – not just through physical acts but mentally also – you are taught to not wish anyone ill. This is a magickal religion that recognized that karma is also inner or mental and not just a physical one. Where else can you find this level of ETHICS except in Wiccan faith!

    – The Wiccan faith is not against any other faith. We are just happy to be. Every faith has the right to exist – but everyone MUST have the right to choose their faith. Imagine people not having the right to choose what they believe – having no control over their own minds. Wicca does not and shall not promote mind-control. People must awaken and be self-realized and self-enlightened. That is why in Wicca we have meditation and spells – not just blind prayers made to some external power believed to be able to help you. We know ourselves as the universe. We are creators. We manifest ourselves – our inner power creates outer world. We believe in Magick.

We can see that right now people are all awakening, arising and opening their eyes…to the Divine Truth within themselves. And that is why the time for Wicca is NOW!

You have and deserve to have a choice of what to believe in.

If you are an enlightened master, you have found the faith that resonates with you – Wicca is yours.

As enlightenment spreads more and more people are accepting the faith of Wicca – where all paths and religions melt and fuse as one and where all universal faiths are converging today as one global, rational, honest and truly spiritual sacred system, with harm to none – SO MOTE IT BE!

  • MERRY YULE!! The True Ancient and Magickal Symbolism behind Christmas

MERRY YULE!! The True Ancient and Magickal Symbolism behind Christmas

Christmas Trees, Holly and Mistletoe, Santa….Everyone celebrates Christmas with these, but few realise the true and ancient significance behind their celebrations.

Ever wondered why this season is so Magickal and why wishes are fulfilled now more than ever?

At Global Wicca Tradition we are celebrating this season as YULE.

Yule is the Winter Solstice (peak of winter), when night is longest and day shortest. Celebrated in end of December each year it represents the symbolic death and re-birth of Sun (as days will grow longer again soon after).

Wicca is a modern religion based on pagan (ancient) nature worship. Wiccan magick is based on the invocation of ancient nature powers (gods and goddesses) that form the basis of all modern religious beliefs.

Tree worship by decorating evergreens is also part of ancient pagan ritual kept alive in the modern world. Evergreens – Fir, Holly and Mistletoe all are symbols of eternal life. This is the real reason why you decorate a Christmas Tree and use these symbols.

Its time people understood the true symbolism and significance of Yule as it helps us return to nature and eco-friendly life.

The Old God of Winter (symbolised by an old bearded man) dies and is born as young again. He brings joyful tidings of Yule to one and all and is the Wiccan or ancient equivalent of both Santa (old god) and Christ (newborn sun).

While God represents the Yang (masculine) external or visible aspect of divinity the Goddess is the Yin (feminine) inner hidden aspect of Divine – she is the Divine Energy (Shakti) one who gives birth to God or consciousness (Shiva). All mythology… of Vishnu, Osiris, Christ, whether Greek, Egyptian, Hindu or of any religion….all has roots in this ancent pagan and scientific Truth – that energy and consciousness (also called goddess and god) are the creators of the universe.

Yule represents the return of light in darkness or the rebirth of consciousness. As we approach 2012 we are approaching a moment of great spiritual awakening in the world which is the theme of this year’s Yule celebration.

As Yule stands for re-activation of consciousness, it is also a time for wish fulfillment and magick spells (spells are scientific – energy based formulae to activate our inner god and goddess power to manifest our highest good).  Your consciousness when awakened will help you learn how to work with Energy – the vibrations that compose every atom and subatomic particle – the vibrations that constantly create the illusion of solid or material life. You and your entire life and world is all composed  of vibrations….and you can craft yourself and your whole world by altering vibrational patterns…this is the science called Witchcraft. Just Know Thyself!

At Magick, country’s first and foremost Wiccan store and temple, we are celebrating Yule as a tribute to 2011 to welcome 2012, a most magickal year. As we lit the Yule log fires this year in our celebrations at the Earth Healing Temple at Magick, Bandra West on 22 Dec, we bid welcome to the rising of the inner witch or wiz (wise one) in everyone.

What You can Do in Yule:

A lot of Wiccans especially those who are new into it practice solitary or as loosely gathered groups, often leading to more unfocused energy than an organized tradition or temple can provide. However Wiccan temples and traditions are not always accessible to the public.

Even when these are not everyone prefers to learn in a structured way or to keep the energy chain flowing through an organized tradition. What we need to understand is the difference being a part of a tradition and temple can make to us if we choose to be a part of it. In a tradition there is a specific philosophy, leadership, code of ethics and a shared understanding of what and how we practice as a community of Wiccans.

A tradition can have one or more temple. In a Wiccan temple there are rituals and rites conducted as service often within the initiated priesthood but also sometimes open to public especially on festive occasions such as sabbats and esbats. A temple is a finely run organization with priests and priestesses and headed by a high priest/ess who looks after the functioning of the temple.

As the public is often allowed to be a part of the sacred ceremonies along with initiates a lot of energy is transferred to the member of public who is granted access to the temple. An energy exchange in the form of membership dues or ritual fees is often required to help facilitate the same so that the participant gets maximum benefit of the spiritual service consumed by him or her. Often the fees for such public ritual service is kept to a minimum as compared to a one-to-one and personalized ritual or spell-casting performed by an expert.

If the temple receives adequate donations or has a good source of funding the rituals can be made even more affordable for the masses but as Wicca is a fairly new religion this process may take some time. An energy exchange may be required to keep the temple functioning well, to reward the priesthood who conducts the services and to cover for the ritual supplies as well so that the temple can continue to provide continued service, expand itself and serve the society in a meaningful way.

What is the Earth Healing Temple: A place where magick happens and rituals are held – this place is within our heart as we come together and cast our circle for any temple ritual. This is a Wiccan temple – our prayers are our spells and invocations. We worship the Earth goddess and all facets of divine from all sources across the globe – the Wiccan Way. We call upon the elements of nature and astral entities that are positive in every aspect to help us raise and purify our energies so that we release the negative blocks and bring in more positive situations in our life. We also perform rituals to heal the earth.

I urge you all to also read the blog post on how to join the Earth Healing Temple on the Global Wicca Tradition’s ning network (Join Us) and lend us your support and participation so that we can keep up our good work. With all you support we will be able to unite more and more people and expand our tradition in every direction. Consider joining our tradition’s inner circle to have a more active role to play in it as a priest/ess. Any comments, feedback or discussions are welcome.

    Blessed Be

  • Birthday of a Witch!

    Birthday of a Witch!

We have heard his stories, of all the miracles and wonders that he brought into the world, His healing powers, prophetic abilities and magical skills are well known.

Jesus Christ seems to have been an extremely good witch, a magickal human who had tremendous wisdom and consciousness. If those tales are true it seems that he used his power of consciousness to create a change, to awaken the masses, to see the future,  and to show and lead by example.

Legend says that he was sacrificed…and it is also known that so many alleged witches have been framed and murdered through time for being courageous, self driven, focused…why… just because they chose their own beliefs and used their own inner spiritual powers instead of going as per the dictates of others?

Following the path of Christ is about following the inner self. Instead of merely worshiping and remembering such great masters we must try to be like them, to learn the ways of the healers, to be enlightened, to work with the angels and unseen beings of nature, to prophecise and see the future, to perform divination and magick, to create a more positive state of being for ourselves, facilitating that for others, creating more beauty, peace and joy in this world, to be in balance, to maintain the balance of nature…Then we will truly be in the energy of God(dess).

We may celebrate his birthday today in many ways but it will be incomplete if we did nothing to invoke our inner light as that is what God(ess) is truly all about.

Whether we attend a sacred ceremony, meditate, perform a spell, spend time in nature, or simply be in the energy of truth, we must know that the light of the world is being born within us in this very moment… as we spend some time with our-Self discovering the magick within us all.

    Blessed Be
