  • Vegophobia: 12 Dangers of Discrimination Against Vegans

Vegophobia: 12 Dangers of Discrimination Against Vegans

Vegophobia: Discrimination against Vegans is also a discrimination against animals, as you are taking away our voice for the animals. This includes:

    1. Not having enough vegan food, restaurants, clothing, fairs, Vegan shops, supermarkets, community events in an area just because Vegans are a minority group, thereby making people feel isolated. It also brings down public consciousness and defeats human health as we humans are natural frugivores ftom apes and are greatly impacted by non vegan food, causing cancers, pandemics, climate change, lack of empathy, heart diseases, sociopathic disorders and unkindness in society. Veganism is the best and only right way to live.

    2. Not giving Vegans enough respect in meetings and conversations when you eat or share food or talk about food or products and services involving animal abuse and exploitation. There is no reason to talk about your love for eating chicken legs, lamb chips, beef roast, eggs or dairy among each other. These things involve graphic violence and hurt the feelings of kind and sensitive empaths who don’t want to hear about violence and murder of poor, innocent animals being spoken as a way of having fun, taste, or pleasure. It also causes secondary PTSD to be aware of the trauma of others being minimalised and normalised in society. Please be considerate to the strong emotions associated with horrific violence.

    3. Arguing with Vegans instead of respecting animal rights. Claiming everyone cannot go vegan due to lame excuses. Kindly refer to my free book Shamelessly Arguing With Vegans.

    4. Not enough jobs for Vegans to work in. Government not supporting a strong, immediate and complete economic shift towards a better vegan world for all beings as prescribed by top scientists and government advisers. If even pandemics and climate crisis are not able to awaken humans, then what will?

    5. Not enough support for Vegans as spokespersons in press and TV. Not involving Vegans as changeagents and not giving them a voice. Making Veganism a very less talked about issue. I am aware that media thrives on business and advertising of animal abuse products and services but there can be an positive voice editorially as editorial needs to be completely a free press and not related to advertising at all. If editorial is also a cunning and deceptive system of promotion of animal abuse industry then what is left as a way of educating and of uplifting society today?

    6. Not having enough support for Vegan politicians, in national, civic and legal leadership. If Veganism is the best answer to all problems of the world, then why are not politicians turning Vegan and making sure schools teach Veganism and society changes, as well as laws. We need a law against Breeding and Slaughter of animals as we need not harm animals to obtain any nutrient or products. #BanAnimalAgriculture

    7. At workplace non vegans dominating and serving only non vegan food or having non vegan conversations, not considering that animals are abused. Harming the planet, animals and isolating Vegan colleagues at workplace, work events, job fairs, conferences and trade shows. Why is this happening in the modern world as of we are stuck in a time warp of archaic behaviour?

    8. Schools not always serving non vegan meals and not teaching kindness to children when it comes to massive slaughter, and breeding of animals as slaves. What are schools teaching if basic humanity is missing in education? The first thing a child should learn is basic biology that we are humans and not omnivore but frugivore as per body type and DNA and omnivore behaviour is a social anomaly and not our natural self.

    9. Constant prejudice in movies and literature, featuring non vegan activities and trivialising vegan philosophy. Celebrities mixing up their beliefs and confusing masses with their lack of knowledge and low IQ levels by saying useless and unscientific things about needing to eat or abuse animals for health or work. Noone needs to abuse animals for nutrition or any purposes. These celebrities are not moral teachers, wise ones or scientists to be followed and imitated in terms of beliefs. They are mere entertainers.

    10. Medicines and Healthcare system imposing non veganism on families and individuals, demanding we must use non vegan pills, capsules, vaccines and surgical sutures, procedures, etc., by compulsion or force of law, else we will be accused of neglecting our children, our health, our travel needs. Vegan medical system and alternative medicine system based on herbs and self healing, reiki, self help and alternative therapies are legitimate.

    11. Wrongly Accusing Vegans of Harassment or Militancy or Extremism if we speak against animal abuse with friends, family, work colleagues, shoppers, as part of local or street activism and in society on general. Would you accuse women who fight for their rights to not be abused or protest on streets or reach out for support similarly? Or those speaking against child exploitation or pedophilia or child abuse? If not, then why speak against animal rights and refer to animal rights activism in a derogatory way?

    12. Wrongly Accusing Vegans of Ableism, Discrimination against Humans of Various Ethnicities or Black rights or false allegations of Anti Semitism against Vegans who say that animal slaughter is a Holocaust. Animal violence is Holocaust, as per dictionary definition of the term Holocaust means mass slaughter. Animal breeding for exploitation is Slavery, as the term is not exclusive to any ethnic rights movement. Animal rights matter too. Animal breeding to work for humans is not Ableism as breeding human babies or animal babies to serve other humans is wrong and is exploitation.

  • Go Vegan Rishi Sunak For Life. Ban Animal Abuse and Graphic Violence Now!!

Go Vegan Rishi Sunak For Life. Ban Animal Abuse and Graphic Violence Now!!

It is that time of the year again. January. Veganuary requests people to ‘try’ vegan for 1 month.

But this time round Million Dollar Vegan has once again started campaigning for a celebrity public figure, none other than tycoon British P.M. Rishi Sunak, to go ‘Vegan’ (try plant based would be the right term), for one month in exchange for 1 million charity donation. Presumably to a charity of his choice, (hope it won’t be a non vegan charity that tests on animals, or deals with animal products). This time round, the focus appears to be on environmental and public health issues (human interest story) as per this announcement by GenV.

Please read the intelligently worded letter on the link below:

This campaign evolves this new year, after an unsuccessful attempt in 2019 to convince the Pope to Go ‘Vegan’ (try plant based) just for the Christian month of Lent, or just for one meal with the campaigner, a young girl called Genesis, the namesake of chapter 1 of Bible mentioning the world being Vegan in Eden, before original sin. This campaign was supported by PaulMcCartney (known to be vegetarian, not vegan himself). As before the temptations on offer was 1 million dollars in donation to a charity of the Pope’s choosing for trying plant based for Lent. The Pope seemed to have chosen the sins of Gluttony and Violence among others instead of a return to truth.

Multi Billionnaire Rishi Sunak has demon-strated no better moral values himself as he has strongly supported animal abusers and violent murderers in the name of British beef, steak, dairy and other disgusting criminal industries shamelessly before, going against his own scientific advisors at times.

Will Rishi Sunak change his horrific ways?

To ask or demand noted personalities and influencers to Go Vegan, is a great propaganda. But a few setbacks in these campaigns are again pointed out as follows.

Going Vegan cannot be something you for a month or a set period. Veganism is not another name for plant based food. It is a basic belief in moral values of not deliberately causing harm via abuse and slaughter to animals, those beings who are sentient.

Veganism is against exploitation of animals by boycotting animal products such as animal meat dairy, eggs, honey or additives in food, and also other items such as animal leather, animal fur, animal wool, animal silk, animal testing or use of animals in entertainment such as circus, rodeos, zoos, any other product or service that can be avoided in practical routine life. It is not just a food trip or an ego massage offered to billionnaires.

Veganism has eco friendly and climate benefits, as well as health benefits including personal health such as risk of heart disease, diabetes, asthma, cancers, global pandemics, flus and epidemics, and overall hygiene in environment, besides being a clear win for economy, setting large swathes of land the size of continents free and making water energy and food crops available to eradicate world hunger, water shortage, land shortage, homelessness, poverty, malnutrition. Imagine the world going Vegan, and you have ‘a world that exists on the future’. The other option is extinction.

If these above truths are before us in clear words, why not ban these heinous crimes permanently, crimes masquerading around as ‘industries’ of animal rape and murder.

Why should abusing and murdering someone be left to public opinion or personal choice? What about the opinions of the victim animals, the 80 billion land animals and 3 trillion sea animals killed every year worldwide for food itself? They did not ask to be bred and bled.

All of us are animals. All of us deserve a basic right to life and our economic freedom from slavery, exploitation and graphic violence. Human, cat, dog, goat, sheep, duck, pigeon, chicken, turkey, sheep, cow, bull, pig, fish, crab, lobster, prawn or any other victim. We all have our own feelings, emotions and dignity. Stop assaulting us for money, pleasure or taste. There is no excuse for animal abuse!

Breeding and Slaughter for food or other things that can be easily replaced by plant based and vegan ones, is a horrific crime that belongs to the dark ages. We are frugivore animals, humans, evolved from apes and kind hearted, good beings. Stop evil now.

  • The Dark Tetrad of Non Veganism: Villanous Psychopathy

The Dark Tetrad of Non Veganism: Villanous Psychopathy

As opposed to sociopathic disorders and sadism discussed earlier in the previous story on the Dark Tetrad, in this series concerning the Dark Tetrad of Non Veganism, Psychopathy is linked with being rather rigid in opinion and behavior, absence of moral values, failure to display empathy and a lack of capacity to change themselves. They cannot confront their conscience and display lack of morality repeatedly. If you have been involved in animal rights activism or outreach of some kind such as cube of Truths or on social media, you might realize that this is exactly how many non vegans are and will unfortunately remain inspite of regular exposes on the truth of dairy, meat, egg and leather industries. Therefore it is often said that psychopaths are ‘born with it’ making any treatment difficult if their behavior becomes clinical. This also necessitates the very urgent need to ban the very graphic crimes of animal breeding and slaughter completely instead of expecting all humans to change and go vegan in due course of time.

The following are clearly deadly attitudes prevalent and common in society that indicate Psychopathy and its connections with the way non vegans view and behave towards animals in their daily lifestyle.

    • Mental or physical torture is considered normal by them as they have no sense of moral versus immoral, e.g. bereaving dairy cow of newborn baby, keeping them hungry for days, hitting, kicking, smashing on concrete, knifing in jugular vein, hanging upside down vertically and beheading, scalding in soapy solution before defeathering… all are routinely passed off and funded as standard and approved procedures and peole remain obtuse to them. Serial killing and rape is no different from animal agriculture. The movie ‘Silence of the Lambs’ was named so because of the connection of cannibal serial killer on his attitude towards victims to that of lamb slaughterhouses. The victims are totally innocent and quietly led to death because the perpetrator has no moral judgement.
    • Carnal Instincts and Impulses that are uncontrollable is a trait of Psychopaths. Also we need to be aware than most serial killers were vicarious meat eaters, preferring rare steak, beef, ham, cheesy fries, dairy icecreams, cheeseburgers and other disgusting items as they also gravitated towards trying human flesh and lusted after body of victims. The more we consume nody parts, flesh of others or their secretions the more the mindset that it is alright to kill or abuse someone. An absusrd logic imbibes into people that opens a gateway to hell and demonic behavior later on towards humans too. Violence against animals if normalised turns people into psychopaths from a young age or within family lines and hereditarily so.
    • Psychopaths usualy grow up coldly lacking empathy and regard to ethics and might even display those behaviors at an early age. Cruelty to animals is also at times an early childhood sign of a dangerous criminal (research reports show that out of three aspects of the controversial MacDonald’s triad of childhood enerurism or bed wetting, setting fire to objects and animal cruelty, animal cruelty was the prime indicator of fearlessness and callous or unemotional traits). [Walters, Glenn. (2016). Animal cruelty and firesetting as behavioral markers of fearlessness and disinhibition: putting two-thirds of Macdonald’s triad to work. The Journal of Forensic Psychiatry & Psychology. 28. 1-14. 10.1080/14789949.2016.1244856.] However animal cruelty is eerily present in everyday life in the form of food. We are all born with little or no understanding of animals overall except in some households with pet cats or dogs and research studies animal cruelty only with respect to pets or wildlife whereas farm animals are considered food. In rural families we may directly watch farm animals sent to slaughter or killed by family members for ‘food’ from ancestral lineage as an inherited behavior. These inherited behaviors become part and parcel of our DNA over centuries of conditioning because as a specie we evolve and our DNA shifts with time and education. Veganism being a relatively recent development in human society might change human consciousness over a period of time when we begin to develop more empathy and connection with animals. However so far it is common for human beings to be completely lacking in empathy and ethics towards animals and in many cases towards humans as well. We all are surrounded by crime and hidden violence at workplace and home if not on streets.
    • Psychopaths may have awareness but still lack conscience. Psychopaths as opposed to sadists may not always enjoy harming others or actually know that not harming others feels better but still carry on relentlessly. Non vegans know that their habits are destroying environment and their health and are aware of a better alternative to that namely veganism. They enjoy tasty plant based food too and infact in most cases when a big brand introduces vegan options it is non vegans who are the biggest customers. They enjoy vegan food and other vegan items and might even not like animal products in comparison. Yet they complain about veganism and continue to be non vegan irrationally knowing fully well that it is the dead body parts and secretions of a horrifically abused victim that they are consuming. So, they are aware of what they are doing and how it affects others, but still do it.
    • Psychopaths may display absolutely no guilt or shame. We all have been negative to someone at some point in our lives or even consumed animal products in most cases in childhood or even till adulthood. While ordinary human beings still might feel a slight pinch of sadness or disdain at themselves when confronted with their own behavior or past self, and reflect upon the same, psychopaths feel no need to even reflect upon their behaviors. They have no interest in self introspection and examination of their own mindset. They really believe that being immoral is fine if noone arrests them or jails them. Their belief is ‘who cares if it harms so many others’ because ‘everyone does it’. For example if they have abused children, animals or humans, they do not feel ashamed at their act but avoid thinking about it and relentlessly pursue their victims as if nothing has happened. Consuming animal products of gory violence is one such example.
    • Psychopaths have poor judgement of right and wrong or god and evil due to moral ineptness and make poor decisions in life that harm themselves, their seniors at work, their friends and family and their victim animals. They continuously get into trouble and lack insight into how their actions impact others. They do not understand how someone else will feel at all.
    • Psychopaths grow up endangering others remorselessly with non vegans not only causing species loss and extinction but loss of very precious individual life too, babies being killed with bullets or other weapons. Non vegans justify this belief through loose quotations from books and philosophies from past that stated ‘someone has to die for others to live’ or ‘it is law of nature’ and ‘life feeds on life’. These sayings are untruths that are passed on for generations to build us into psychopaths who keep harming other animals unnecessarily when we do not realy have to, and justifying the behavior.
    • Psychopaths display aggression, harming and cruel behavior at times or support those behaviors by letting them happen, for example in households when children or women are beaten, raped or shouted at sometimes the other family members support the crime and help the criminal who is the abusive parent, thereby adding to the abuse of the victim. In case of non vegans they support very graphic crimes for example mutilation, slaughter or murder and rape carried on by farmers, slaughter workers and hunters on a daily basis and even maintain they can do it with their own hands if on ‘a desert island with just a cow’ and that ‘it is good to kill your own food’ and ‘native americans do it too’ as if they were not human but a dangerous carnivore lion, tiger, snake, wolf or cheetah, or an ancient tribal with no better options. Their personality reflects the same over time as they simulate those species as if they were ‘shapeshifters’ or ‘aliens’ of other star races or planetary system and not human frugivores who evilved from apes at all.
    • Psychopaths may end up feeling no remorse even if confronted directly with their behavior. We know that serial rapists and serial killers such as Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer (enother Lyran or feral personality) even upon accepting their crimes feel negligible sorrow for the victim. Non vegans similarly when exposed to video footage and evidence that makes it impossible to refuse that severe injustice and horrific violence has taken place, do not feel sorry for the actions at all and justify by shrugging them off, saying that it is ‘acceptable in society’, ‘everyone has to die someday’ or that it is the ‘circle of life’ which are all lame excuses. Media, medical and education system composed of cruel agents in the artificial society or matrix we live in is no different than psychopathic in nature.
    • Psychopaths indulge in pathological lying, justifying crime or injustice unnaturally, for example in case of non vegans they end up saying that it is ‘humane rape and murder’ or ‘they felt nothing when killed’. Psychopaths love using deception for example lying, cheating and hiding truth or denying guilt to get away with crime and to escape any penalties or simply to not change their behavior. ‘It is not rape’, is a common statement of dairy customers and even in Indian households where marital rape is acceptable because of the property status of females and cows both also worshipped as mother goddesses.
    • A comon trait in psychopaths in not learning how to change themselves and justifying behavior even if wrong by arguing shamelessly. They feel that ‘offense is the best defence’ and fight tooth and and nail as if they had to fight for their food as wild animals do to protect their food from being taken away.
    • Psychopaths have a superficial aura or charm. When you speak with certain non vegans you may notice that they suddenly speak impressively and pretend to listen to you while being so disinterested in your opinions as if mentally deciding to not care regardess of what realy happens to animals. They would close eyes disinterestedly, pout, nod head, move mouth sideways, change topic and have a fake body language displaying insincerity while being superficial in conversations as they have no depth of emotions. They might spend a lot of time practicing out what to say and how to say it or rehearsing in their head or before a mirror. They have a shallow affect or emotional range instead of feeling sad or horrified when exposed to footage of animal agriculture and may simply look bored or away from it unconcerned or unhappy it is shown or just mildly reacting superficially as if they felt nothing.
    • Psychopaths have a relatively high degree of intelligence as compared to other sociopaths and might also have scientific aptitude making them skilled or glib in conversations and arguments when it comes to food and non veganism. They have a clever mind and use it to advantage because they are unable to be heartful or look within.
    • At times psychopaths may even justify, manipulate and get away with their behavior. It may include rape and other gory violent 3rd degree crime and this is common in non veganism which consistently upholds that it is fine to impregnate cows forecably against their will and separate their babies on birth or a few days after birth and then kill their babies with knife or bullet as long as you do it ‘humanely’. Serial killers have not been detectable and evidence hidden away for years of repeated rapes and murders and some were never identified. They know how to cover up their tracks just as slaughterhouses and animal farmers do. In case of non vegans they have manipulated the system carefully to be the ones to make the rules and never be prosecuted and also to justify their rights to abuse animals and eat them.
    • Demanding forgiveness instead of really being sorry is a psychopathic trait. ‘I pray over and thank the victim over the dead body’ is commonly seen cultural and religious system but it appears that God ‘forgives’ them or that ‘the Universe is ‘unconditional to them’.
    • Using the victim entirely in proud way as serial killers do for example animal farmers and non vegans openly admit proudly that they ‘use their manure’ and ‘dispose them in environment friendly way’ and ‘use, all the body parts later’ for food, clothes, shoes, gloves, glue, violin strings, hair in paintbrushes, nails and bones in fertilisers, blood in puddings and plant feed, after using their milk, wool and eggs thoroughly by boosting producton and raping the animals in farms. A few noted serial killers and rapists also used their victim’s skin and bones and body for food or leather.
    • Psychopaths are impulsive and sensation or thrill seeking which is why crimes attract them. They are more likely to be comfortable living in danger whether it be coronaviruses, germs in animal farms, health problems caused by dairy or meat and eggs, or tensions at home caused by others not agreeing with them. They like the fights or stress in their minds and learn to cope with thier health problems by ignoring them even in huge risks of heart attacks and cancers.
    • Lack of realistic long term vision or goals is also Psychopathic tendency as they can be rather myopic focused only on immediate concerns while ruining their future or of their families carelessly and irresponsibly. In case of non vegans they may be unconcerned of climate change and not plan out any sustainable solutions in personal or community life or take right action to alter their lifestyle and career suitably for long term success foreseeing that the only sustainable world is a vegan one. Farmers lobby are prime examples of villanous psychopaths destroying the planet.
    • Psychopaths may be parasitic in lifestyle which means they will always look out for ‘what they can get from someone or something’ for short term. Non veganism supplies them with immediate gratification of their senses and they always aks ‘what is the benefit to them’ repeatedly and do not consider long term benefits. They can also be substance abusers.
    • They lack conscience or empathy and blame victims, and even seek revenge for example they may arrest the activists or complainants if they expose the violence or even hurt them. Slaughterhouse workers are used to hitting animals who tries to fight back and subduing them if they attack in self defense so that they carry on with their job heartlessly. To them it is just another job. Non vegans employ them or fund them so that someone else does their dirty job.
    • Psychopaths are conceited and play games to outsmart the ones who oppose them. They proudly exclaim that they are well qualified and respected in society, call animal farmers a hard working family business, state that it is the vegans who are wrong and continue to ‘expose’ the absent significant illnesses or so called nutritional deficiencies of vegans.
    • Psychopaths are adept at denying crime happened, saying its nothing wrong because plants are also living beings, its not really rape if it is artificial insemination, they are not victims if they are animals, they just thrash legs because of reflex action, they felt no pain or sorrow like humans do.
    • Historic violence and a pattern of repeated crimes such as crimes against women, child abuse or religious fundamentalism, and racism is noted too. Psyhchopaths can be skilled or proficient at more thanone crime as well. They justify or uphold that these social injustices have been happening already for so many years to many people. If many people are paedophiles, taliban style terrorists, or hit their spouses, why not try that too, is the sick mind of a psychopath. Psychopaths do not feel like having better moral values than others and engage in what they consider a thrill of bad behavior that is immoral, lustful or graphic.
    • Manipulating and seducing the victims before crime and then betraying their trust is highly psychopathic. Just as giving chocolate to child by paedophile and luring them into a bedroom or shady corner of street is inappropriate, so is luring an animal into a trap by a hunter, or keeping them in a gas chamber after making them go after others in a queue. Animal industry manipulates us by false words such as ‘we have the best welfare standards’, and insist they treated victims well, ‘at least the animal had a good life’. Non vevagns behave psychopathic when they argue they only buy ‘free range’ or ‘organic’ and ‘grass fed’ beef or when restaurants and cafe display these signs proudly. Non vegans such as the Pope also explains that his animals are well looked after and roaming about freely in the countryside or mountains, and in their pen or shed. It is not enough that you ‘look after’ someone. Serial killers look after victims and treat them to choiciest food, then kill them.
    • Sexual impulses and assaults are likely in Psychopaths as they need stimulation and cannot be at peace by themselves. They are likely to be therefore rather predatory in the way they behave much like carnivores stalking or checking out their preys. This also explains how they remain carnivorous as they identify with carnivorous animals rather than with sensible humans who can control their impulses well.
    • Psychopaths are adept at misusing the innocence or helplessness of a vulnerable victim. They argue ‘thats why chickens dont fly in the sky, so we can catch and kill them’. Some say ‘fish have short term memories so we can cause them pain’, others explain how animals are too weak and they cannot escape because God made us more powerful than them to feed us.
    • Psychopaths being mentally rigid display very strong, unwavering opinions even if wrong, for example they keep arguing plants are sentient baselessly even if there is enough informtion, then they present a new arguyment, then another, till the vegan outreacher is completely drained out as a result. Their main delusion is that ‘they are always right’ and should be the ‘past word’ on the topic.
    • Delusional and schizophrenic traits are found in Psychopaths as deep down inside, they are completely disconneted from truth, have split their mind into rreality and a flase reality completely of their own, have grandiosity of opinion, and feel they are absolutely right because they completely lack insight or capacity to acknowledge truth.

Most people who are psychopaths may be sub-clinical as this quiz shows for self examination, and found in daily life as common citizens and not readily called or identified yet criminals. The fact is that harm caused to animals is not even considered a crime if they are farm animals, therefore we humans may generally grow up with psychopathic attitudes pased off as ‘normal’ in daily life. Psychopathy is a common tendency in noted serial killers invloving cannibalism at times, linked with rape, while at other times psychopaths may be just the person next door who is good at lying or cheating or artificial in tone and behavior. However meat eating is also virtually part and parcel of food habits of serial killers and domestic abusers alike and of course in the lifestyle of a typical next door neighbour or the person next to you in the supermarket queue who does not feel any shame or guilt, argues in a cunning way and lacks empathy.

  • Hold Your Appetite: Vegan Poetry Book

Are you liberated from the hellish world of animal exploitation?

Would you like to help others gain freedom from this violent and abnormal situation?

Poetry for Ascension for the Vegan Soul and Spirit on animal rights, rebellion and equality are featured in this tasteful collection. But please hold your appetite for a moment, because veganism is not merely another delightful alternative in the kitchen. It is a movement against the deliberate exploitation of sentient animals who are cruelly abused unnecessarily although all our nutritional and lifestyle skills are fabulous enough to be devoid of abuse of even a single creature.

This book is a slap in the face of those consumers who remain reluctant to take just one simple step in the right direction, toward the vegan section of the supermarket, and the system that is corrupt for obvious reasons. These poems are unapologetic as they are dedicated to those billions of non-violent beings who are shattered each year by the enormous crimes occurring in private places all around us. Very conveniently countless babies and adults are raped, murdered and sold off as shoes, belts, coats, sausages, curries and burgers after a life of continuous suffering, violence, coercion, control and domestic abuse. Considered as properties they tarry around in lorries and trucks to their last breath of such horrors imperceptible to humans that are strangely passed off as ‘your personal choice’ in our psychopathic, violent world.

Meat of animals, dairy, eggs and other products surround us in the Devil’s own Hell, a system of lower reptilian consciousness – one that each sane and rational human being should speak out against day after day. Anyone is free to print, reprint and paste these original content of poems all over the streets or your chosen networks or to use them in songs as long as it is for the higher motive.

  • Veganism vs Coronaviruses and Other Human Diseases: Part 2

Veganism vs Coronaviruses and Other Human Diseases: Part 2

Last week in the first part of this article, we examined a review of approximately 25 scientific research studies and papers to elucidate how animal farming has led to the plethora of degenarative diseases and pathogenic conditions, including the deadly coronaviruses affecting the world today.

A ban on wild animal markets is certainly called for worldwide at the moment, but what about the equally deadly farm animal products supply chain that takes many more lives, including millions of humans, billions of land animals and trillions of sea animals?

Humans die prematurely not only due to ailments caused by direct consumption of meat, eggs and dairy, such as cancers, heart diseases and diabetes, but also due to indirectly contracted influenzas and pathogens by airborne or watreborne contaminants, and due to world hunger which is caused by animal farming too. Large amounts of foodgrains are fed to captive animals being grown and killed to feed the tastebuds of the elite while poor children suffer. In this research paper it is argued that ‘diets that include animal products produce more negative GHIs (global hunger index) than vegan diets. A wide range of diet-related negative GHIs could be reduced significantly if current agriculture was transformed into a predominantly vegan agricultural system’ (Animal (De)liberation: Should the Consumption of Animal Products Be Banned? – Jan Deckers 2016).

While the number of diseases linked with animal farming might be countless, and we explored infections, influenzas, coronaviruses, BLV, cancers , thyroid and respiratory diseases, coronary ailments, arthiritis in the previous article, here are a few more worth noting:

    1. Infections from Manure: Not only do meat, egg and dairy expose us to infections of stomach and urinary tract, vegans are also calling or more veganic farming, which eliminates use of animal manure and animal blood or bones in vegetable plantations. As noted in a research report on environmental health, ‘It is quite unrealistic to enumerate all the microbial pathogens present in cattle manure because of the huge numbers of these pathogens that populate the gastrointestinal tract and the other systems in the animal. Agricultural animals, including cattle produce copious quantities of animal manure consisting of animal excreta (feces and urine) along with bedding, microorganisms, process-generated wastewater, secretions (nose, throat, blood, vagina, mammary glands, skin and placenta), undigested and spilled feed, antibiotics, nutrients and fur.’ (An Overview of the Control of Bacterial Pathogens in Cattle Manure, Christy E. Manyi-Loh, Sampson N. Mamphweli, Edson L. Meyer, Golden Makaka, Michael Simon, Anthony I. Okoh, Int J Environ Res Public Health. 2016 Sep; 13). In short along with the Vitamin B12 and other nutrients from animal products such as dairy, eggs, meat and manure, we also risk ingesting other secretions and fecus which are highly pathogenic.
    2. Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (Mad Cow Disease): BSE also called mad-cow disease, is a dealy prionic infection acquired by cows by way of feeding them slaughtered remains of other killed cattle. BSE was subsequently transmitted to humans, causing new variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (nvCJD). A task force here has been studying cases of variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD), an incurable malady of the brain and nervous system that has been linked to eating beef or other products from cattle infected with bovine spongiform encephalopathy or “mad cow disease. (Balter M. Epidemiology. Tracking the human fallout from ‘mad cow disease’. Science. 2000 Sep 1)
    3. Brucellosis (Malta/ Mediterranean fever): A detailed report states that, ‘Brucellosis is one of the most common contagious and communicable zoonotic diseases with high rates of morbidity and lifetime sterility as well as abortions., arthiritis, coughs, fever and neural problems. The infection of Brucella species is commonly mediated by direct contact with the placenta, fetus, fetal fluids, and vaginal discharges or byproducts (e.g., milk, meat, and cheese) from infected animals. The enlarged udder size (appearance of the 9th month of a pregnant cow) could be used as an indication for the high stage of the disease, where animals shed bacteria in urine, milk, and vaginal discharges. Brucellosis has been reported in 86 different countries worldwide and is a serious threat not only to livestock but also to human health globally. 4. Toxoplasmosis: Two forms of T. gondii are infectious, the tissue cyst which is found in raw or undercooked meat and the oocyst which is present in the feces of the domestic cat. According to research infection by Toxoplasma gondii is thought to affect approximately one-third of the adult human population.’ (Halonen SK, Weiss LM. Toxoplasmosis. Handb Clin Neurol. 2013)
    5. Eye/ Ocular disease: Studies in South-east Asia found that certain eye infections, Gnathostoma spinigerum are common in humans and due to ingestion of contaminated fish, pork, chicken, frog, or snake. Contaminated meat contains third-stage larvae, and upon ingestion, the larvae penetrate the viscera and travel to internal organs and subcutaneous tissue. (Daengsvang S. Gnathostomiasis in Southeast Asia. Southeast Asian J Trop Med Public Health. 1981 Sep)
    6. Parasitic Worms: Helminth is a general term for a parasitic worm. The helminths include the Platyhelminthes or flatworms (flukes and tapeworms) and the Nematoda or roundworms.  Larvae are contained in the tissues of the intermediate host and are taken in when a human eats that host, Clonorchis in fish, tapeworms in meat and fish, Trichinella in meat. (Wakelin D. Helminths: Pathogenesis and Defenses. In: Baron S, editor. Medical Microbiology. 4th edition. Galveston (TX): University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston; 1996. Chapter 87)
    7. Type 1 Diabetes: In a study on Casein milk protein and Type 1 diabetes among children, researchers presented evidence that A1 β-casein cows’ milk protein is a primary causal trigger of type 1 diabetes in individuals with genetic risk factors. (J S J Chia, J L McRae, S Kukuljan, K Woodford, R B Elliott, B Swinburn, K M Dwyer Nutr Diabetes. 2017 May). Another research on Type 1 diabetes in high risk children, doscovered that at three months of age, infants who had been fed cows’ milk had a significantly higher immune response to bovine insulin than did infants who received an alternative formula or were breast fed. (Gottlieb S. Early exposure to cows’ milk raises risk of diabetes in high risk children. BMJ. 2000)
    8. AIDS: In a report on diseases of wildlife and threats to human health, it is stated that. ‘the emergence of HIV is believed to have arisen from hunting of nonhuman primates for food in central African forests.’ (Daszak P, Cunningham AA, Hyatt AD. Clearly exploitation and killing of animals for food is a primary cause of some of the most deadly diseases in the world.

      Science. 2000 Jan 21)

    9. Rabies: While a risk of rabies transmitted to humans by dogs might have reduced, new research explains that, ‘human rabies transmitted by wildlife, mostly by bats is a risk to inhabitants in many countries. Transmission of rabies by vampire bats to cattle and humans was associated with forest activities in South America.’ (Belotto A, Leanes LF, Schneider MC, Tamayo H, Correa E. Overview of rabies in the Americas. Virus Res. 2005 Jul)
    10. Acne: Milk is meant to increase the growth of calves, it naturally contains growth hormones and anabolic steroids, detrimental to human health. Scientific research on Acne has found that a western diet being dairy rich contributes to acne. (Danby FW. Clin Dermatol. 2010 Nov-Dec;28). This may also explain the onset of acne in adolesence for most people and hence dairy as a causative factor.
    11. Eczema: In a study on egg and cows’ milk exclusion diet linked with antigen-avoidance, majority of children who avoided eggs and dairy and received soya substitutes instead of dairy benefited positively. (Atherton DJ, Sewell M, Soothill JF, Wells RS, Chilvers CE. A double-blind controlled crossover trial of an antigen-avoidance diet in atopic eczema. Lancet. 1978 Feb 25)
    12. Dermatitis:  In a study exploring diet and dermatological conditions of Seborrheic dermatitis (distinguished by dandruff, cradle cap, seborrheaseborrheic eczema, and seborrheic psoriasis) on 4,379 participants comparing vegetable, Western, fat-rich and frut dietary patterns,  the fruit pattern was associated with a 25% lower risk and the Western pattern with a 47% increased risk. (Sanders MGH, Pardo LM, Ginger RS, Kiefte-de Jong JC, Nijsten T. J Invest Dermatol. 2019 Jan)
    13. Skin Cancers: In a comparitive study between meat and dairy/ fat rich diet and a diet of fruits and vegetables including green leaves, the meat and fat pattern was positively associated with development of SCC tumors. A higher consumption of the vegetable and fruit dietary pattern appeared to decrease SCC tumor risk by 54%. (Ibiebele TI, van der Pols JC, Hughes MC, Marks GC, Williams GM, Green AC.

Am J Clin Nutr. 2007 May)

    14. Stress, Anxiety and Mood Disorders: A study comparing vegan, vegeraian and omnivore diets found reduction of animal food intake may have mood benefits. (Vegans report less stress and anxiety than omnivores. Beezhold B, Radnitz C, Rinne A, DiMatteo J. Nutr Neurosci. 2015 Oct)
    15. Schizophrenia: An international analysis found that a higher national dietary intake of refined sugar and dairy products predicted a worse 2-year outcome of schizophrenia (Peet M. Br J Psychiatry. 2004 May). Another analysis of twenty-two cross-sectional studies reported on the relationship between dietary intake of fruits and vegetables and psychosis. Of these 20 studies found lower vegetable and fruit intake is linked with psychosis and one determined that increase in this intake can reverse psychosis. (Aucoin M, LaChance L, Cooley K, Kidd S: Diet and Psychosis: A Scoping Review. Neuropsychobiology 2020;79:20-42. doi: 10.1159/000493399)

In short whether, physical health, infections or mental health, veganism and an elimination of all animal exploitation is not only tremendously beneficial from an ethical perspective, it is also as beneficial to human health and for the wellbeing of the planet as a whole.

The need to rapidly eliminate animal farming and expolitation of farm animals on an emergency basis cannot be overstated. Not only that we need also to stop needless domestication of animals or their use in farms, for entertainment, in zoos, as pets, as research subject, for animal testing, their use as slaves, or in any way that is unnecessary to leave them in their natural habitats, and to return earth to its natural state. Thirdly we need to switch to veganic farming methods and replace the use of animal products and manure entirely as soon as we can to heal our planet and eliminate suffering of both humans and animals.
