Meditation is a non-religion specific, personal practice of conscious awareness in any given moment. The benefits of meditating are numerous and not limited to the following:
INNER PEACE: Meditation helps us experience our own inner peace by helping us calm down and apply common sense in daily situations. Those who are peaceful from within are less likely to be restless and agitated. Inner peace reduces need for violence, crime, anger, sexual frustration or mindless imitation of celebrities or media figures. We might be focused on images and stories of violence, crime, terror, fear, drama and anger through the numerous best-selling books, blockbuster movies and plays enacted for entertainment. People and situations around us can make us upset and worried about our life or future. Meditation helps us look beyond this outer world and notice how we are absorbing energy from outside so that we can detach and choose something much more meaningful through inner awareness.
SELF-CONTENTMENT: Meditation reduces need to depend on anything or anyone from the outside for happiness by helping us find inner contentment. Inner peace reduces unhealthy habits, reduces stress and therefore eliminates need for smoking, drugs or drinking as an escape or dependency. The danger of young children, teens and adults falling into the bottomless pits of negativity or addiction has been constantly around us. Sometimes people look for relationships for love and find themselves in abusive or unhappy situations instead. Fortunately we all have our inner wisdom that prevents us from taking a fall and helps us find our way back to our personal well-being through meditation.
PERSONAL CONSCIENCE: Meditation develops our own innate consciousness instead of merely following any outer doctrine. Meditation improves natural intuition and helps people have inner feeling of right or wrong instead of merely following rules for the sake of rules. People naturally become heart-centered, compassionate and kind through meditation and learn how to live in balance with others and nature. Countless religions and their commandments have been ineffective in creating a peaceful and healthy world so far. Laws and enforcement have been struggling too. What we truly need is a method through which people can be aware of ethics and truth for themselves instead of having to drill it into them through laws or religion. Meditation awakens our own awareness by guiding us to the inner light.
RIGHT DISCERNMENT: Meditation reduces needs for mindless consumerism preventing us from being victims of overspending or wasting our time and resources on unuseful activities. In our daily life we are constantly bombarded with information from various sources, such as media and retail outlets, vying for our attention through glamour, convenient availability and popularity. It is easy to get lost in the world by chasing our numerous desires that are not necessarily in our best interests but meant to keep us busy in diverting our resources towards unnecessary purposes that merely help those brands or celebrities become more popular and wealthy often at the expense of really important causes that deserve more attention.
HIGHEST POTENTIAL: Meditation helps people experience the power of positive thinking by calming stress waves in the mind and helping them achieve better results in all areas of life. Meditation improves memory and absorption of right knowledge through better concentration. Meditation brings our innovation, creativity and our best inner talents. People who meditate regularly have been found to have life-changing experiences of greater health, success, emotional well-being, healthy relationships and joyful existence. We all deserve abundance and good-fortune regardless of religion, birth, country or background. No matter what our situations of circumstances have been so far, meditation can bring us into the ‘here and now’ of present moment awareness that frees us from past limitations of future worry by showing us our true and unlimited potential.
TRUTHFUL AWAKENING: While science focuses on helping us gain awareness about the world outside us and religion talks about a creator outside us, meditation helps us observe our own inner-world by helping us observe our-self. We can observe our body, our physical activities, our mental processes, our emotional states and finally learn that who we are is beyond all this. We learn to observe the one who is breathing, the one who is thinking, the one who is observing…and experience who we are. Slowly we begin to see how the ‘outer world’ observed by science and our senses is merely projecting through our mental thoughts, our unconscious inner-talk and inner emotional states. We can clearly notice synchronicity between our thoughts and our realities and witness how we have manifested or attracted various situations ourself. We can even change our reality at our will and finally be at peace with our-self and one with our creator self which is within us.
HOW-TO MEDITATE:
Meditation does not require any special skills. religious belief, special clothing, accessories or props.
Meditation can be as simple as sitting still and breathing for a few minutes everyday with eyes gently closed so that we OBSERVE OURSELF
With practice we can be in meditative state even with eyes open to cope with any situation, stress, daily life challenges or confrontations with inner peace and intuitive awareness
No special chanting or special spiritual orientation is needed
No special or complex yoga poses or gestures are required.
No special timing or days are needed
No special books or words, images, religious or otherwise are needed for meditating ‘upon’ anything
Sometimes calming instrumental music can help too, especially for beginners
Meditation can be taught in groups or individually and practiced on one’s own anywhere
Regularity of practice is helpful in experiencing benefits of meditation training
True meditation is:
Non-religion specific and non-denominational
Based on a common universal value of inner peace
Not limited to any brand or ‘system’ of meditation
Simple and not technically focused
Easy to achieve – simply pay attention to yourself at any time or place
Brings life-changing awakening of consciousness in daily practice
Helps us be intuitively aware from within to make our own positive choices
Helps us be incharge of our own emotional and mental states in routine life
Prevents dependency on or blame on outside things, people or situations
Leads us towards a healthier and happier world created through our own choices
There are numerous ‘brands’ and ‘systems’ of meditation being promoted all over the world, however my suggestion is to keep it simple. No special ‘type of meditation’ or ‘particular spiritual system’ or ‘tradition specific initiation’ is needed in order to practice meditation.
In our enthusiasm to save the planet, we purchase goods from charity shops or donate to them. But little do we realize that many of these institutions such as Cancer Research and British Heart Foundation, among others, are strangely funding and directly supporting the abuse and maltreatment of innocent victims who are enslaved and tortured in horrific ways. Not only that medical and educational institutions such as Imperial College London, are yet to update their abhorrent animal testing and Vivisection malpractices prevalent since the dark ages, while countries such as the U.K. recognize cruelty, having outlawed animal experimentation in the cosmetic industry, are yet to update evil medical testing laws.
The Severely Dysfunctional Medical System of Animal Testing Failure
If animal slaughter in the food industry traumatizes you, please check out videos on Animal Testing. Animals are not just confined to cages and mentally tortured, they are burnt deliberately, injured violently, cut open alive, injected with poisons, paralyzed, blinded, irradiated, shocked, scarred for life, isolated, starved to death, and their organs removed while they watch helplessly, brain operated upon, metal discs and rods inserted into their head, seizures induced and they are finally killed. The victims are usually defenseless bunny rabbits, little beagle puppies, such as those at MBR Acres, small baby monkeys, little mice, and other gentle creatures who are easier to capture and subdue. This is much eviler than the cruellest version of dark witchcraft you could ever imagine, even in Harry Potter or any other fantasy novel.
Vivisection Exposed, a leading grassroots animal rights group has conducted a series of events in London and around the U.K. to demand an end to this horror show once and for all. For example, Imperial College London, where animals are kept in cages and tested in graphic ways is one institution where protestors have been demonstrating with strong voices such as the one of the 10-year-old in the video below.
Leading Animal Rights organizations such as PeTA have repeatedly ascertained that Animal Testing is simply ‘Bad Science’. Taxpayer money should not be put into these fraudulent malpractices that fail 95 percent of the time in human cases because the human body and DNA are very different in comparison when it comes to animal research on nonhuman species.
Not only that we already have enough cutting edge technology based on lab cells and ‘organ on chips’ that allows to eliminate the need to use live animals to test upon and kill for such research. Noone needs to suffer just to see how a drug or medicine will fail.
Animal Testing – The Stuff of Nightmares
The Legal Stuff
British Parliament held another long debate anticipated recently to decide upon whether to Ban the Breeding of Animals for Laboratory Testing after a strong petition was signed by over 116000 citizens and well presented among MPs. Emma Hardy, Labour MP pointed out instances when animal experiments caused miserable deaths to humans as a result of being unreliable, “For instance, TGN1412, where a dose 500 times smaller than the ‘safe and effective’ dose used in animals killed five human subjects, and Vioxx; relying solely on its results when tested on monkeys resulted in the deaths of, and injuries to, nearly 8,000 people. Conservative MP, Elliot Colburn stated, “NAMs, or Non Animal Methods, have the power not only to replace animal testing but to improve the robustness of the testing that we do, provide more accurate results and be more cost-effective. For example, a recent study found that Emulate’s liver-on-chips were able to correctly identify 87% of drugs that caused drug-induced liver injury to patients despite passing through animal testing. The University of Oxford researchers have developed an animal-free model of stroke by using organ-on-a-chip technology.” The question remains, why is the government taking so long?
Protests Against Cruel Animal Testing by Public at Imperial College, London by Vivisection Exposed
Camp Beagle has already made a noise at Cambridgeshire, against the chilling global corporation, Marshall Bioresources, that breeds and tortures puppies who unlike house pets, never go outside, touch the grass, or receive affection, thanks to the government-backed secrecy of the barbaric animal testing industry. Non Violent protestors of Animal Rebellion heroically liberated a few dogs from the jails of MBR at the risk of several years in jail to them for trespass, unlawful entry and theft.
Another protest ‘Breaking Hearts’ was also held recently outside British Heart Foundation, to opine that this charity must stop testing on animals, just ahead of Valentine’s Day. Previously facts came out in the media that BHF was funding cruelty against labrador puppies by purposely giving them heart attacks causing severe pain, trauma, and death, and even having their hearts removed for analysis before being put down. These researches are being published for over a decade now including the Catalog of Cruelty.
So what is it that we all can do?
We must be Vegan and Cruelty-Free, and avoid paying for slaughter or animal testing. We must also continue to raise our voices against the perils of Animal Testing and Animal Exploitation, sign petitions to outlaw these crimes, and protest alongside other teammates from Vegan and Cruelty-Free organizations such as Vivisection Exposed. We can also be mindful in our shopping and donations or volunteering, to avoid funding Animal Testing. A strong list of charities that do not support Animal Testing, versus those that do is found HERE.
After a lengthy break for safety, I am back online on http://www.askswati.com to take tarot and astrological readings over email and requests for zoom sessions for healing, spells and magical work. Workshops will be announced.
Remember 101 Dalmitians movie for children exposing Cruella Deville? Well Britain has banned the crimes of breeding and killing animals for Fur since 2000 and Scotland since 2002 as stated by agricultural department DEFRA. Moreover import of domesticated cat and dog fur is banned along with fur of trapped wild animals. Yet, over 100 million are killed cruelly for Fur each year and many more for their skin after living in filthy crammed cages.
Protest Against Cruella Deville
Fur farming and exotic skin export is rampant in most other countries such as poor nations from where major designer brands import these disgusting cheap things from to sell for 2500 GBP plus to irrational customers. Some of these show-off brands are Fendi, Gucci, Celine, Yves Salomon, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and many other designer outlets crowding London High Streets and looting the public.
Poor animals such as snakes, crocodiles, lizards, ostriches, kangaroos, lemurs, coyotes, racoons, mink, rabbits and countless others are trapped or bred and killed for this absurd profit making. They are murdered by gas chambering, strangulation, bludgeoning to death, anal or vaginal electrocution.
Wild coyotes trapped on leg hold trap even try to Chew off own limb to escape being shot or attacked violently or being stomped upon to break their rib cage.
Crocodiles and alligators are bred in stinky pools and killed by severing their spinal cord by a severe blow to their head, and then pushing a metal rod in their brain to cause a rather painful, slow death.
Snakes are hit on head by a sledgehammer or even pumped up with water to swell up their bodies to make skin easier to pull out.
Lizards are often beheaded with a machete without stunning. Many a times their skin is ripped up cruelly as they writhe in agony for a prolonged period of time.
Ostriches are often killed at merely 1 year of age at slaughterhouse, flipped upside down and throats slit in full view of other terrified family and friends.
Adult kangaroos are shot mercilessly while little joeys and wounded adults are hit sharply on head to destroy the brain or violently decapitated.
These billionnaires make money by cruelly victimising poor animals who pay with their blood and receive nothing but abuse in their short lives from these criminal companies and their evil minded and ignorant customers.
Exotic skin trade of animals as well as fur imported from other countries of animals including wild animals raised in battery cages. Babies are killed for soft mink and rabbit fur as well as python and crocodile bags or boots, without any reason when we can wear and use vegan and cruelty free artificial fur or leather that is beautifully designed and does not involve this level of violence, exploitation or slavery.
It is disturbing that United Kingdom has not yet outlawed trading of fur and leather or skins and hides of animals. Protestors promise to return every few days dedicatedly to make their point and demand a Fur Free world.
We believe we are in the real world, but what if it was infact a simulation, just as noted scientific geniuses such as Nick Bostrum have speculated? Here are a few clues.
1. Telepathy. Thoughts transmitting over an invisible wifi line, sounds like an obvious giveaway sign of a Neural Network or Matrix. Whether you believe it or not, minds can be read by psychics and mental impressions and thoughts can be moved from one person to another with some practice. Just like a data cable transfers data packets, we have invisible networks that connect the world as one system. Trials with Zener or ESP cards are examples of telepathic exercises. I have trained students on how to use these techniques several years ago in Mumbai with fantastic results. Meditation and third eye based raja yoga us one way of fine tuning this skill with an hour a day of practice dedicatedly.
2. Manifesting: Yes, magic, Harry Potter and Hermiones, Charmed Ones or Sabrina could be one of us easily with some training. I have trained students in affirmations, spells and magical arts for far too many years to doubt that we certainly always create our reality. Usually people do this unconsciously with data from mind giving various outputs subconsciously that seems random or even contrary to your thoughts. But by practicing higher levels of consciousness one can learn to focus better and project thoughts more clearly into reality. Basically data projection via holographic pathways from mind into matter is from the Matrix, a system of neural interactive virtual reality gameplay with our physical 3d avatars and environs being given to us architecturally by the system, along with some potential to alter and improvise on the situations we are in using free will or choices. This part of allowing a controlled amount of free will was essential so that we believe we are in the real world and flex our muscles and mind within the virtual reality parameters to enjoy the illusion.
3. Dreams. We all dream with eyes closed. We see images in the mind’s eye. We have a body in these dreams. We think, emote, run, dance, eat and visit the toilet in our dreams. These dreams may be very realistic, so immersive that you can never say whether you are dreaming in your mind or living in the real physical world. Lucid dreaming techniques to gain awareness do exist such as trying to switch a light button on or off, trying to read the same word twice to see if it changes, trying to ask someone if you are dreaming and trying to wake up by meditation and then opening your real inner eyes with some mental effort and will power. Similarly there might be ways to awaken from the Matrix dreamworld as well by questioning reality and using your will power to open your real eyes.
4. Fractals. This is an easy one. Observation of nature makes it clear that there are highly symmetrical and beautifully designed patterns graphically made precise using what could only be a computer program. From trees to leaves, cloud to mountains, entire planets to galaxies, the infinite verse of the grand illusion looks as if it is never ending. From microscopic particles’ microcosm to the giant universe’s microcosm, there is contulinuation of simulation via a graphic engineered pattern repeating itself infinitely. If you were to simulate a city or planetary civilisation with nature and buildings, it would be entirely possible with a simple fractal code grand design, using programming language given the right equipment to generate highly immersive virtual reality simulations that make us believe that it is the physical world.
5. Fermi Paradox. If we are just one planet out of billions in this (seemingly) endless universe, where are the aliens? Obviously the Truman show is over if you realise this bit. The planets might be digital graphic simulations, designed to appear distant and fascinating. We only believe what NASA tells us. Or the Matrix might even simulate aliens into the equation if necessary. Anything can be created in a virtual reality simulation. Parallel universes and multiple dimensions included. But so far they have stopped here because the music, media, advertising, jobs, money and entertainment programs have given us enough data to keep us asleep and entertained in these dreams.
6. Senseless world. What could be a better explanation for people indulging in meaningless acts of violence and harm, than the possibility that they are programs doing what they are made to do as per their inherent coding? Many programs are all around us, including Sentient Programs or beings that are living out their life cycles while accomplishing various goals or purposes, destined for them by the Matrix. These include evil purposes that keep us preoccupied in struggles, strife, violence, frustration and stress. Emotional involvement to a very high level will always prevent a mind from awakening by making one highly engrossed in the ‘story’ given by the Matrix, just like watching cinema but crying as if it were really happening. Obviously we know that killing animals is morally wrong as they feel suffering and value their life. Yet most people seem alright with it as of mere programs carrying on and on regardless. Most people around are simply programs with no common sense. Even most Vegans are unable to figure out that we are in a simulation and are controlled. They seem smug and content that ‘they exercised a choice’ which was one of the strong ways of making us believe the world is real. The truth is that real humans were always Vegan, the Matrix made us believe we became Vegan.
7. Unexplained Origin. We do not normally remember being born, do we? What if we were not from here at all? The Matrix might be filling our mind with a story, to implant us with realistic simulations of ‘memories’. Implanted. What if the family we believed was ours was infact not so at all? We seem to have no memories regarding how our consciousness started out, whether in the womb or before that, and the start point of our existence is unknown. We simply believe what we are told with no independent evidence of our own.
8. Mediumship. Mediumistic abilities of spirit communication, contact with otherworldly brings, angels, ghosts or deceased loved ones is passed off as an evidence of human or animal soul giving us messages or God and his or her team intervening in our life to help us through. What if these were various programs in this artificial reality show and not any real human? Programs such as the Oracle or Ghosts in the Matrix. Voices or angels talking to you may not be schizophrenia if they give accurate information about what is around you or will happen in future. I have for instance a being telling me absolutely accurate things suddenly, such as what will be the next scene in a new movie I have not seen before, or a line written in a page I never read, a few seconds before I read it.
9. Extinction. Everything that has a beginning must have an end. Because the Matrix is a simulation created artificially it needs to end, which brings us to the apocalypse, climate change and extinction eventualities. Just like in Inception, the film, catastrophe might strike and the dream architecture crumble down or fall like a pack of cards in Alice in Wonderland. The dreamer needs to wake up somehow once the slated time is up. And our time might be up soon given the state of climate collapse. Just as Matrix resurrections indicated, what if Greta Thunberg was the latest version of Merovingian program who looks after those programs who do not wish to be deleted.
What do you feel? Does the Matrix have you or are you so inert, so dependent on it, that you are not ready toquestion reality?
